Pastor James Bové

Senior Pastor

Pastor James began with CCA as a junior high school teacher in 1997 and in 2007 became the principal of the school at which time he was ordained as a Pastor. In 2011 he was called out to Colorado Springs where he worked in secular jobs gaining valuable life experience and skills to prepare him for his current roll. In July of 2020, James  succeeded his dad, Mark Bove, as Senior Pastor.  Pastor James and his wife Kristy (Director of Women's Ministry) were married in June of 1996 and have teenage twins.

Philippians 1:6 "Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ"

Jimmy Reinstein

Director of Youth

Jimmy Reinstein grew up attending CCA from birth in 1991 till 2012. God then called him to help serve and attend another church where he mainly served in junior high and high school ministries as well as many others. He then came back to CCA in July 2022 and is currently the youth director and helps with any other ministry that needs assistance. Jimmy graduated from Biola University with his  Bachelors in Biblical Ministries to help equip him with the tools to serve the Lord.

James 1:12 “Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.”

Pastor Bill Hoganson

 Teaching Pastor

Pastor Bill has been attending Calvary Chapel Anaheim since 1980. He served on the board of Elders for 10 years before joining the paid staff in 1994 as the  Administrative/Teaching Pastor. Since stepping down from paid staff in 2018, Bill has been dedicated to leading our Sunday night services, heading up the monthly Men's breakfasts, and assisting in various capacities as needed. Bill has been married to his wife Terry since 1970 and has three adult children and seven grandchildren.

Pastor Louie Monteith

Go! Ministries  (Missionary Support)

Louie and Cheryl Monteith are missionaries to missionaries, encouraging
missionaries worldwide to be faithful in their calling to fulfill the Great
Commission. Louie also oversees GO! Ministries, a missionary sending agency
based out of Calvary Chapel Anaheim, CA. Louie and Cheryl have been married
since 1981 and have two adult daughters, Lindsay and Kelsey.
 
Mark 16:15  And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature."

Cheyenne Del Carmen

Director of Children's  Ministry  &  Worship Leader

Cheyenne has been attending CCA since 1994 and serving in children's ministry with his wife, Gloria, since 1998. He has one adult daughter, Christina. In addition to serving as the Director of Children's Ministry, Cheyenne serves on our board of elder's and leads one of our worship bands.

Kristy Bové

Director of Women's Ministry  &  Worship Director

Kristy Bove has been attending CCA since 1994 and was married to Pastor James in 1996.  She divides her time between taking care of her teenage twins (Luke and Kylie), working as a hairstylist, directing the Flourish women's ministry, designing social media posts,  planning retreats and so much more. Kristy is a passionate follower of Jesus always willing to step out in faith to try new things for the Kingdom of God.

Silas Jewell

Maintenance & AV Technician  

Silas has been attending CCA all his life and has been serving as Maintenance worker since 2019. Silas also helps with audio and visual for services.

Sue Reinstein

Bookkeeper

Sue Reinstein has been attending Calvary Chapel Anaheim since shortly after she married Jim in 1986. She has 2 sons, 9 grandchildren, and a great grandson. She was the office manager at our preschool for many years, and is a graphics designer as well as a computer programmer. She has been the church bookkeeper since 2020. She also has been a retreat planner, women's ministry group leader, and is active in several ministries. Sue's desire in life is that "they know we are Christians by our love".  She is privileged to serve in a church where the mission is "Love God. Love Others"!
